| Education records – annulment |
Cases of education records annulment in lower education:
- forms filled in incorrectly, with corrections, additions, with the stamp placed inadequately, or without a photo, partially destroyed or badly faulted
Cases of education records annulment in higher education:
- if the record makes reference to studies that were not performed by the holder;
- the education record is a fake.
This kind of document has to be cancelled and the law stipulates its publication in the Official Journal of Romania, Part III?
This is what you have to do:
- you either delegate a person to the Sales and Public Relations Center headquarters where he will hand in the application for publication and pay the publication fee of lei 15 /document.
In 24 hours at the latest you will get hold of the copy in which the loss was published, by paying lei 0, 3.
- or send the application by post, enclosing the proof of the publication fee payment and the equivalent value of the journal copy (lei 15, 3 in total).
After the loss publication, the journal copy will be sent by post to the address mentioned in the application.
Observations:
- the notice is drawn up only on the basis of the official certificate/application of the issuer, where the issuer’s express request for the publication of the education record annulment notice should appear;
- it has to be specified: the name and office of the issuer, the name of the original education record, the series and number of the record, the number (and date when it was registered in the book-keeping of the education unit, the year when it was issued – if the record has been issued), the name, the initial of the father’s name, the issuer’s first name, the mention that the record has been filled in incorrectly;
- the payment document of the publication fee.

- Order No. 3502/2005 for the approval of the Regulations concerning the education and school records in lower education – Article 37 corroborated with Article 27, paragraph (2), letter b);
- Order no. 2284/2007 for the approval of the Regulations concerning the education records in the lower education – Article 35.
